Dr. Shipley changed my life! My first trip to Dr. Shipley's office occurred in December 1986. For several months I was in continual pain and losing my mobility. Anytime I stood up I had severe abdominal pain with pain also going down my legs. I had to use both hands to lift my legs into the car. I had pain in my shoulders, neck and upper back. Boy, was I a mess! After x-rays and a thorough examination, Dr. Shipley explained my problems and suggested his method of treatment. The first month I went 3 times a week, second month twice a week and then once a week the third month. To my surprise, by the end of the third week, I was able to stand for longer periods of time without severe pain and getting in and out of the car without physically using my hands to lift my legs. Well, that was 16 years ago and many aches and pains later. I truly believe that without the adjustments on a regular basis I would either be walking with a cane or possibly in a wheelchair. It is a relief to be able to walk in and tell Dr Shipley this or that hurts and he does his magic and I'm feeling better. To my surprise, my husband, who did not believe in chiropractors until he saw my recovery, became a patient. It is great to go to a doctor who is caring, compassionate and FUNNY(HA! HA!). Car Accident Success Story I was the victim of a car accident. At first I had headaches, neck and back pain which soon became chronic. The pain made it almost impossible to work. Chronic Neck and Back Pain I've been seeing Dr. Shipley over the last few months. I've suffered from headaches, neck pain, back pain, difficulty walking, standing and stiffness in my arm and legs. Needless to say, I had problems with all aspects of daily activities. Life in general had gotten so bad that just getting up to answer the phone was a very traumatic experience. Medically they did blood tests, medications such as pain killers and anti-inflammatory but nothing helped and I was getting worse. While in the waiting room of my medical doctor's office a patient recommended seeing Dr. Shipley and my medical doctor concurred with that.
